october

familia!
my wonderful family came and visited the first weekend of the month. We didn't get near enough pictures, but I plan to make up for that over Thanksgiving break. Only 12 more days!

{Nathan is now sixteen! my baby brother isn't so little anymore.}

kidney stone...
so, I had a kidney stone, for three weeks.
There are only a few pictures of me during this time, thank heavens.
It was rather miserable, but it made me realize how blessed I am. When I couldn't be in the comfort of my home, people came together to take care of me in any way, shape or form possible. From my amazing brother, Grayson, who rushed me to the ER at 4 am, and back again to the doctor several more times, to friends who brought me meals, ice cream, movies and pleasant company.

{Alicia and Hannah and Jaynie made me dinner on my second day - still had my hospital bracelet on..}

{apple cider vinegar apparently helps kidney stones pass. Laura documented my first try of it... nasty}

{I love Lion King. My Momma had Grayson go out and buy me a big stuffed Simba to make me feel better. I adore this thing}

night at the farm
RUF had their annual Night At The Farm -  a time of food and fellowship.

{definitely not all of RUF, but a lot of us}

{my favorite picture of us}

{my dear, dear friend}

another night at a farm
my friend Katie invited a whole group of people out to her family's old farm house. It was absolutely beautiful, and I had way too much taking pictures of everything.

I'm a godmother
Katie and I both love cats, and we both recently lost ours. One Saturday morning I was at her house for breakfast {pumpkin pancakes} and she looked at me and goes,
 "What if I got a cat today?"
So, we went out to the humane society and was immediately greeted by a precious little fella, a black and white 5 month old. I'm having to live my cat wants and loves vicariously through Katie now.
Meet the darling little Fitzgerald!

all hallows eve
not that I actually celebrate halloween, but it was fun to carve a pumpkin.

 {Veronica and Demi}

{my dorm had students open their doors and give out candy to the underprivileged kids of Athens. Jessica and I helped our friend Ronnie pass out candy to the cute little trick-or-treaters}

goodbye october.
oh and roll tide. always.

That kidney stone doesn't sound like fun! I hope you're all better now! Love all the pictures.
